I have been with Beloit Senior Living since early May 2016 and am proud to be able to say that I have been in our beautiful facility since day one. I am responsible for the day to day operation of our facility, as well as managing the staff that work here, and to ensure that we provide the best quality of care to all who enter our doors. My husband and I are lifelong residents of Beloit and I am so excited to be able to bring something as wonderful as Beloit Senior Living to our community. I am committed to making our facility the one that all our residents will be proud to call home.

I have had the pleasure of working for the company since 2013. I have worked in the healthcare field since graduating from nursing school in 1985. I hold certificates for Licensed Practical Nursing in Wisconsin, Illinois and my home state of Michigan. In my role, I oversee medication management for all of our residents and coordinate with the medical professionals for continuity of care. I also give tours to new potential residents and/or families, conduct initial assessments and develop care plans. Doug, my husband of 30 plus years, and I live in Poplar Grove, Illinois, where we find delight in family time with our four children, their spouses and our grandchildren.I also enjoy reading, bon fires and fishing.

I started working at WSL as a caregiver five years ago. I manage the employees’ schedules, facilitate the new hire Onboarding process and coordinate training. I wear many different hats here and I enjoy being able to help other staff and share my knowledge and skills with them. My favorite part about my job is that I interact with people every day. I love conversing with our residents and knowing that the work we do here at Waterford Senior Living makes a difference in people’s lives, it is very rewarding. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and spending time with my dog and boyfriend.

Delegating Registered Nurse

I’ve been the RN at our Milton location since 2012 and have been at the Beloit location since 2016. As the Delegating RN I oversee the medication administration, educate the staff and delegate specific nursing tasks to the care staff who meet certain requirements. My nursing career started as a teenager when I worked as a nurses’ aide at the Fort Atkinson Hospital. After high school graduation, I received my LPN then after my 2 children were grown, I went back to school for RN degree (ADN) and later my BSN (2012). I completed the Parish Nurse training at Marquette University in 2000 and have volunteered my time serving the members of our church. I also currently work part time at Family Practice Clinic in Fort Atkinson as an RN Care Coordinator. I live in my home town of Fort Atkinson with my husband and enjoy our children and grandchildren’s visits. I enjoy gardening and growing flowers and vegetables to share with others. In August 2015 I completed the Master Gardener certification and volunteer my time in serving the community. I have had the privilege of traveling to Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, and Kenya to serve and use my nursing training.

I began working for Great Lakes Senior Living in 2017. I am responsible for the marketing activities of our locations in Beloit, Milton and Waterford. At each of our communities, we aim to create a compassionate environment where our residents and guests are treated with dignity and respect. In addition to helping with that objective, my favorite part of working for Great Lakes Senior Living is helping people transition to their new home in our community. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me spending time with my wife and daughters or on the golf course!

Jeanette Wagner - Food Service Director

I began working for Beloit Senior Living when it opened in 2016 as kitchen staff and was soon promoted to the Food Service Director. I am responsible for the oversight of the functions of the kitchen by menu planning, ordering food and supplies, training staff, meal prep and more. My favorite part of working here is that everyday I get to work with family. The residents are my family and I enjoy making great tasting meals for them to enjoy. In my free time my wonderful boyfriend and I enjoy hosting get-togethers with friends at home, playing games and love to go fishing.

I began working at WSL before it opened in 2006 as the Executive Director. In 2015 I was promoted to President of the company to oversee and manage all of Great Lakes Senior Living. We have three locations in Wisconsin; Beloit, Milton and Waterford. My goal for the company is to be a leader in the Assisted Living industry by providing excellent care to our residents and families, a positive and supporting workplace to our employees and local community involvement. I live in Waterford with my husband and two young daughters.
